These have been one of my all-time favorite pair or running shoes. They are lightweight and they are not sloppy in the slightest. The upper is great and I feel like I am cruising when running on these. I also have Asics Nimbus (which I won’t buy again- far too heavy for me) and I rotate through two other pairs of Asics gel lytes33 (version 2 and 3). I’m picking up another pair of these virrata 2 while they are still around!

I previously used ASICS Cumulus (very heavy by comparison) and then tried Vibram 5-fingers (which didn’t work for me at all – I winced every time I stepped on a pebble). These shoes are also a bargain at places like Holabird.
