I have both the Gaviota and the Arahi. Gaviota gives much more comfort and t fits me perfectly. At the beginning I liked the Arahi for its quickness and being very light for a stability shoe. Its faster then the Gaviota. But after a while is didn’t like the early stage metarocker. Also I preferred the cushioning on the Gaviota more. For me the outsole of the Arahi started te wear out very fast and I didn’t like the fit of the Arahi 1. Don’t know if it is better with the Arahi 2. I would choose the Gaviota over the Arahi anytime. I just bought a new pair Gaviota’s. Hope this helps you…
]]>Hi Michael – it’s very personal. I don’t have a problem going from the 12mm of the Inspire 14 to the 5mm of the Gaviota, but I know that some people have. I really like them but I understand the worry. Sorry, it’s one of the things you really need to try for yourself 馃檨
]]>I鈥檓 in the market for stability shoes and considering the Gaviota but it鈥檚 difficult to find locally. However, they do have Arahi, do you think better Gaviota or Arahi?
]]>The Arahi offer better stability. I have both and the Arahi are better for over pronators. Gaviota has more cushioning. I’ve found the seams on the gaviota to start coming off as well which is disappointing for the price.
