The Hoka Skyward X is a highly cushioned, stable trainer best suited to easy runs. It has a convex carbon plate which isn't really needed because you can't feel the so-called 鈥渟uspension system鈥?and it makes it feel at very slow paces . The Skyward X replaces the Bondi X. It's softer, more cushioned and feels more energetic than the Bondi X due to the PEBA in its midsole but it's still not worth its retail price.

The Nike Winflo 11 is a shoe for anyone! It鈥檚 such a versatile shoe and wears many hats. You can use them for training, for short runs and they are stylish enough to wear for running errands]]>
The Salomon Aero Glide 2 is a responsive , maximum cushion trainer that was built for comfort during easy paces and longer runs]]>
The Cloudmonster Hyper is a brand new trainer which is designed to be a more versatile, more premium version of the regular Cloudmonster. It's made from more premium materials and it cost $240.
The Cloudmonster 2 is the latest version of On's popular Cloudmonster series. It costs $180. This comparison will tell you which of these 2 trainers is better for you. ]]>
The Altra Rivera 4 is a versatile daily trainer. Built with Altras trademarks (FootShape and 0 mm drop) it provides a natural and comfortable ride from start to finish. ]]>
The On Cloudmonster Hyper is an overpriced super trainer that feels like a normal, daily trainer. It has Pebax in its forefoot and core but it doesn't deliver the springy, energetic feeling that you expect. It has deep cushioning with a firm, stable ride that feels awkward at slow paces. The Cloudmonster Hyper has a ride which feels more similar to the Cloudboom Echo 3 than the regular Cloudmonster and it's best suited to steady-paced runs.

The Topo Athletic Magnify 5 is a zero-drop daily trainer that provides enough midsole to protect your feet on those easy miles of both running and your daily walks. And with the price of $135, this shoe can be very appealing compared to other daily trainers that are higher priced such as the Altra VIA Olympus. ]]>

In my 20 years of working in the running shoe world, this is the first time I remember Nike announcing a new shoe one year before its intended release]]>
The Puma Magnify Nitro is a max cushioned shoe that can be an all-around shoe for most runners. It鈥檚 not the softest or most plush shoe in the max cushion category but it is a very smooth shoe that helps make paces feel faster while also having awesome grip on the road. The redesigned upper in this shoe helps wrap your foot around some softness, although it鈥檚 still not as plush as other max cushioned shoes on the market. ]]>

The Reebok Nano x4 is a quality built daily gym training shoe that incorperates comfort, durability and support all in one! This shoe was great to train in day in and day out. Definatly is my go to trainer!]]>
The ASICS Metaspeed Edge Paris is a really fast but firm racer best suited to half marathons. It has a stiff midsole with an aggressive forefoot rocker but the new FF Turbo+ foam doesn't compress much so you don't get a very bouncy ride. The Edge Paris is lighter and more cushioned than its predecessor but still not soft enough for full marathons.

The Puma Velocity Nitro 3 is a do it all type of shoe with the benefit of having a very affordable price point. Light enough for speed work, cushioned enough for long runs, and nothing extraordinary for easy runs. The fit is a bit narrow but yet it is quite comfortable. ]]>
The Saucony Guide 17鈥檚 are a pillowy soft max cushioned supportive shoe. It's a very stable shoe that can be used for an everyday trainer. I personally don't care for the color combinations or how they look but thoroughly enjoy how they feel on. ]]>
The Saucony Omni 22 is a moderate stability shoe built for durability with comfort and a smoother transition with lighter weight. A supportive heel stands out in this shoe and limits inefficient torsional movement as the foot begins to roll forward. ]]>
The Adidas Supernova Solution is a great daily training option for runners that want added support but don鈥檛 need a full fledged support shoe]]>
How many times have you, or someone you know, tried something new because they saw it on social media? What makes you think running would be any different? ]]>
The Puma Fast-R Nitro Elite 2 is designed to be a marathon racer but it feels more like a long-distance trainer due to its heavy weight. It doesn't provide as much speed assistance as the competition and it transitions slowly from heel to forefoot if you're a heel striker. Version 2 is softer and more cushioned than version 1 but it is heavier and feels slower.
